Events at Rustic River
With 27 wooded acres on the Grand River, three places to stay, and small event room in the Main House, Rustic River Retreats is a great place to combine your wedding, reunion, church retreat, bachelor or bachelorette party, or other event with a stay in wine country.

*All 3 properties must be rented for any event.
*Fees are in addition to the two day minimum rental. For weddings, The day before and after the paid rental will be blocked off to allow time for set up and clenup. You will be able to begin settign up on Friday morning and can take until Monday at 11:00 to clean up, remove tents / chairs / etc.
*We have a limit of 100 people for any event due to parking and septic system limitations.
*The property is on septic, so portable toilets are required for events with 50 or more people.
*Alcohol is allowed, but a liquor liabilty policy is required that names Rustic River Retreats, LLC as secondary insured. These are available online for about $125. The Event Helper, Wedsure, and Eventsured are examples of where this can be obtained. We have no affiliation with any of these companies.
More details can be found in our Event Rental Contract, but the general rule of thumb for what’s permitted is “leave it how you found it and don’t burn it down.”
